Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

(CBT)

CBT is a goal-oriented approach based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are interconnected. We may find ourselves caught in unhelpful patterns of negative self-talk or avoidance of situations. Our aim is to work together to develop practical tools to help you break maladaptive cycles through small, manageable changes. CBT is a highly effective, evidence-based treatment for anxiety, depression, and stress.

  • Session length: 50 minutes.

  • Offered both online and face-to-face.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)

When we experience a distressing or traumatic event, the brain can sometimes fail to "file" the memory correctly. Instead, the memory stays "stuck" in a raw, emotional state. This is why certain triggers today can make you feel as though you are re-living a past event, leading to flashbacks, panic, or a constant sense of being on edge. EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based therapy designed to help the brain process traumatic or distressing memories. It is particularly effective for PTSD, phobias, and persistent emotional patterns.

  • Session length: 50-90 minutes (depending on the phase of treatment).

  • Offered both online and face-to-face.

I accept clients who choose to self-fund their treatment, as well as those covered by private health insurance.

  • Self-funded cost per session: £90

Clinical Supervisions for Therapists

As a trained supervisor for both Low and High-Intensity CBT practitioners, I provide clinical supervision that is both reflective and developmentally focused.

I support fellow therapists in refining their CBT formulations, managing complex presentations, and maintaining their own resilience within the field. Above all, my aim is to help in maintaining a sustainable, rewarding career.
